SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FUND (SDF) (for local students only)

   
  Application for SDF Funding
  1. All training courses conducted are open to Singaporeans or PR only.(click here to view courses supported by SDF)
  2. Applicants must be gainfully employed and be at least 18years from the date of registration.

An Applicant may opt to apply via the company for SDF support or via Surrogate Employer programme i.e Mendaki.

How does one apply if it is company sponsored?

  1. Ensure that your company is registered with SDF.
    If no, click here to visit SDF website (www.sdf.gov.sg)
    If yes, enter your user id and password.
  2. Upon successful login, click on Course enrolment.
  3. Click on Make Enrolment, enter either the Provider name or Course Title, next click the search button.
  4. A list of SDF approved courses by training provider will be displayed, select the course by clicking on the title.
  5. Select the course dates.
  6. Click the trainee’s button to enter your trainee particulars.
  7. Answer the question: “Are you applying for SDF assistance?”, Click next to continue.
  8. Answer the rest of the questions listed below.
  9. Click View Terms and Conditions.
  10. Click “X” at the top right hand corner to close.
  11. Click “Yes’ to confirm the declaration followed by the submit button.
  12. When your enrolment is successful, an entry reference number is generated.
  13. You will receive an email notification (to the email address provided in the company profile) when the training provider confirms your enrolment. Please make the necessary course fee payment to the training provider as stipulated in the notification.

How does one apply if it is via Surrogate Employer Programme?

  • Mendaki
    1. Fill up the Yayasan Mendaki’s application form including T & C Nos 10-12
    2. Applicant must sign the terms and Conditions of Cambridge Institute
    3. Submit the following documents to Cambridge Institute:
      • Applicant’s IC
      • Applicant’s CPF contribution and Payslip
        (The Payslip must indicate the benefits the applicant’s has i.e leave , failing which the applicant must be able to produce the employment letter)
    4. Payment of the unsubsidized fees will come in once approved

Absentee payroll funding available , subject to terms and conditions.
